Natig Allahverdiyev, head of the farming association Zeytun Baghlary has been arrested, said a source from Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General's Office, APA reports.
In line with the information, he is accused of criminal case on Article 320 (falsification of documents) of the Criminal Code. Currently, the general prosecutor's office in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources investigates the damage, caused by the detained person to environment.
It should be noted that Allahverdiyev's brother's name Daghbey Allahverdiyev, was also mentioned in the case of an incident with Azadlyg opposition newspaper reporter Agil Halil on the territory of Zeytun Baghlary.
The source noted that the fact of attack against Halil is investigated by a joint group of the Azerbaijani Ministry of National Security and Prosecutor General's office.
