The parents of Azadlyg newspaper correspondent Agil Halil, invited to the prosecutor's office of Kurdemir, Azerbaijan, were questioned for seven hours on April 18.
The due announcement was made by journalist's defender Elchin Sadikhov, Day.Az reports with reference to Azadlyg radio.
According to the defender, parents were invited due to the pressure, put on Halil during the investigation.
"An investigation has been carried out in this connection. Assistant for Prosecutor General Azer Askerov has left for Kurdemir for the purpose. He questioned Halil's parents and brother from 12:00 until 07:00 p.m.", said the defender.
