A resolution, proposed by the OIC Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation has been adopted at the 35th session of the Foreign Ministry of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, held in Uganda.
The initiative is related to commemoration of the victims of humanitarian tragedy.
Thus the initiative "Justice to Khojaly: liberation of Karabakh" of Leyla Aliyeva, general coordinator of OIC youth forum and head of the representative office of Heydar Aliyev's foundation in Russia.
Now the day of Khojaly tragedy (February 26) is on the list of the day of victims of humanitarian tragedies of the OIC states. Moreover, information about Khojaly genocide will be included into the manuals of the OIC countries.
Moreover, video and photo materials on Khojaly genocide will be demonstrated to the world within the campaign. Information will be fixed on the websites of international organizations.
It should be noted that a decision was passed to raise the issue of recognition of the Khojaly genocide during the dialogue of the parliamentary assemblies of Europe, Asia and Africa.
