The Russian Azerbaijanis Congress considers that despite the new tensions between Moscow and Tbilisi, there is no threat of growth of xenophobic moods in Russia", said first deputy chief executive of the congress Ilgar Hajiyev.
He also refuted information about mass fight with participation of Azerbaijanis, which included about 20 people, in the Eastern Burilevo district in Moscow.
"As we were told in the press center for the state department of internal affairs of Moscow, no mass fight occurred. It was a simple incident between an Azerbaijani and an Udmurtian for a right to park a car and it would be incorrect to specify it otherwise", resumed Hajiyev.
