"The threat of military clashes between the United States and Iran has not disappeared yet", said Azer Allahveranov, director of the Migration Resources Center, regarding the forecasts of the political scientists, who predict military stage of confrontation between the United States and Iran.
He voiced hope that the forecasts of the political scientists will not come true.
"Naturally, our state structures, primarily, the state committee for refugees and IDP, State Migration Service, State Frontier Service in close cooperation with international organizations and national experts should work out program of actions for period of possible launching of hostilities. By preliminary estimates, it is possible to say that the number of Iranian refugees will be no less than 100,000".
According to Allahveranov, such factor as relationships of Iranian Azerbaijanis with our citizens, similarities in culture and languages will play an important role in these possible migratory events.
"We should be ready to receive many Iranian refugees", concluded Allahveranov.
