On October 28, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inspected the newly reconstructed Akhundov Garden in Baku, reports Day.Az with reference to AzerTac.
Reconstruction activities at the Akhundov Garden began on May, 2008 following the Presidential Executive Order envisaging reconstruction of parks and gardens in the capital city of Azerbaijan.
In a very short time, the garden covering an area of 1300 square meters has acquired a new look with more than 3,000 flowers and decorative bushes, modern lighting system and 20 stylish benches.
President Ilham Aliyev praised the work done in the garden.
