Bizim Yol newspaper correspondent Mushvig Huseynov was transferred from correctional facility No 3, intended for tuberculosis patients, back to correctional facility No 2, said journalist's relative Cavidan Huseynov, reports Day.Az with reference to the Institute for Reporters Freedom and Safety.
He said during the meeting Huseynov noted that he was kept about 10 days in correctional facility No 3 and the treatment course influenced him positively.
"Mushvig Huseynov fells better", said C.Huseynov.
It should be noted that earlier journalist Huseynov underwent treatment in the medical center of the penitentiary system. He suffered from tuberculosis and had serious problems with his lungs.
It should be noted that on January 21 of 2008 the Court of Grave Crimes sentenced Huseynov to 6 years in prison. Moreover, he is prohibited to engage in the journalist activity within two years. Under the decision of the Appellate Court, the court reduced the imprisonment term to Huseynov down to five years.
The journalist was arrested by officials of the National Security Ministry on July 24. He was charged under article 311.1 (bribery).
