On November 25 Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Huseyn Bagirov received deputy minister of environment of Korea Hong Chun Seoka, visiting Baku, said the press service for the Ministry.
Baghirov told the visitor about the work, held in the sphere of ecology and attained success.
The meeting was attended by Korean ambassador to Azerbaijan Lew Kvang Chul.
Moreover, the sides signed a regulation of a joint committee on environment between the Ministry of Ecology of Azerbaijan and Ministry of Environment of Korea.
The first session of a joint committee was held today. The meeting participants discussed exchange of experience on components of environment, waste regulation in Azerbaijan, cleaning waste waters, reducing air pollution, monitoring, ecological education and enlightenment, biodiversity, climatic changes.
