Azerbaijani and Ukrainian dry cargo ships EMERALD 1 and DANSPRIS 2 clashed.

EMERALD 1 is not registered in the Azerbaijani State Caspian Shipping Company, said spokesman for the company Vugar Sadikhov, commenting on information about clash of two dry cargo ships - Azerbaijani and Ukrainian, in the Aegean Sea, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

"Our company has no such a ship. We learned about it from the odin.tc website", noted he.

The Azerbaijani and Ukrainian dry cargo ships EMERALD 1 and DANAPRIS 2 clashed in the Dardanelles bay on Tuesday.

EMERALD 1 has a deadweight of 3,430 tons, is built in 1991 and sailed under the flag of Panama. Its operator is the company SIO SHIPPING, Baku.

The Ukrainian dry cargo ship has a deadweight of 3,183 tons, built in 1979, sailed under the flag of Ukraine and is operated by CAPITAL SHIPPING CO LTD, Kiev.

The Azerbaijani dry cargo ship was sailing to the Eisk port, while the Ukrainian from Rostov to Ravenna, reads the Sea bulletin. The results of the clash and the causes have not been learned yet.
