Chief of cultural heritage department of the Council of Europe Robert Palmer considers that Azerbaijan will soon take part in all cultural projects of Europe.

"The conference of the CE culture Ministers, held in Baku, proved again that your country may become a center of implementation of most projects. I consider the event to be successful, as the adopted Baku declaration will promote the development of cultural cooperation and cultural policy between the countries", said the director, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

"43 countries, joining the Council of Europe, must undertake the assumed committments. Our department, along with culture, is also engaged in the politics, public, protection of rights of national minorities. It should be noted that the resolutions on any conflicts, adopted by the Council are of historical importance.

The main aim of our cultural policy is unification of the countries around definite aims and ideas. I think in Baku we have done a significant step on the way to promotion of our policy. The conference was prepared on the high level. I hope that soon the most urgent issues of our modern world will soon be settled in Azerbaijan", concluded Palmer.
