The Institute of Media Rights is condemning the beating, abuse and humiliation of Yeni Musavat newspaper correspondent Zamin Hajili, said sources from the Institute of Media Rights.
Director of the Institute Rashid Hajili said this incident is not an ordinary law offense.
"Physical attacks on a journalist may hinder the journalist's fulfillment of his professional duty.
The institute voices hope that the due state structures will take legal steps", noted Hajili.
It should be reminded that on December 12 journalist of the Yeni Musavat newspaper Zamin Hajili was beaten. The cause of the incident was that in his article Hajili called Akif Naghi illiterate. The head of the Organization for Karabakh Liberation considered it to be an abuse.
