Association of Parliamentary Journalists of Azerbaijan has declared results of a poll, held among journalists, accredited in Milli Medjlis on the active work of the deputies.

According to Day.Az, speaking at the event chairman of the association Elshad Eyvazli noted that it has been the third year that such a poll is held for journalists to define the most active deputies through the past year.

Thus, President of Heydar Aliyev's Foundation Mehriban Aliyev won the nomination of the most active defender of the rights of voters.

In this nomination, the journalists also singled out the following deputies: Ganira Pashayeva, Fuad Muradov, Gudrat Hasanquliyev, Camil Hasanly, Ikran Israfilov, Sabir Rustamkhanly and Iltizam Akperli.

Among the most active deputies in 2008 the journalists stressed Zahid Oruc, Aydin Mirzazade, Panah Huseyn, Vahid Ahmedov, Azay Guliyev, Siyavush Novruzov, Fazil Gazanfaroghlu, Ali Masimli.

In the nomination for active work in the framework of international organizations, the parliamentary journalists singled out the activity of first vice speaker Ziyafet Askerov in the NATO parliamentary assembly and vice speaker Bahar Muradova in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
