A winter boulevard will be built from Heydar Aliyev's palace to Fizuli in Baku.
According to ANS TV channel, chief of department of international ties and information of the State Town Planning and Architecture Committee Cahangir Gojayev said the idea of creating a park in this are appeared in the Soviet period.
He said under presidential instruction signed in 2006 houses will be demolished in the territory from Heydar Aliyev's palace to Fizuli square for construction of a winter boulevard. After a part of houses is demolished a project will be worked out. For preparation of the project of construction tender will be held among architects.
Notably, residents have already begun to be moved from this area. Yet they are discontented with the small amount of compensation. The Baku mayor's office promised to settle this problem.
