Wife of editor-in-chief of Azadlyg newspaper Ganimat Zahid Ayanda Mursalova met him in correctional facility No 17, reports Day.Az with reference to Mediaforum.
According to the wife of editor-in-chief Zahid Ayanda Mursalova, her husband is concerned with the journalists, who are free,
"Ganimat Zahid states that he can hear news about arrest of any journalist any time", noted Mursaliyeva.
She said her husband feels well.
Notably, on March 7 of 2008 the Yasamal district court presided by judge Sudaba Mamedova passed a sentence on editor-in-chief of Azadlyg oppositional newspaper Ganimat Zahid and Baku resident Vusal Hasanov.
According to verdict of the court, Ganimat Zahid is found guilty of hooliganism and sentenced to 4 years in prison, Vusal Hasanov to 1.5 years. The Baku Appellate Court and Supreme Court upheld the decision of the first instance.
