President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on his country`s national holiday – anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
"We attach great importance to developing multi-faceted relationship between our friendly and neighboring countries. I am confident that we will make joint efforts to successfully continue rich traditions of our fruitful cooperation and relations based on mutual support and trust", the message said.
The Azerbaijani leader wished his Iranian counterpart "robust health and success in your activities", and "the friendly people of Iran peace and prosperity."
