The US embassy to Baku in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and State Veterinarian Service of Azerbaijan will organize training courses this week.
According to the press service for the US embassy to Azerbaijan, the training courses are held for 130 local veterinarians and 30 students of the Azerbaijan Agriculture Academy.
The project will involve leading US specialists in the veterinarian sphere. This project is aimed to combat with the spread of avian flu and dangerous diseases among animals. Courses are aimed to improve ties in this direction between veterinarians and public medical workers.
The program organizers consider that development of regional and global cooperation in this sphere is extremely important for resistance to spread of diseases among animals.
The two week training courses are organized by the office on reduction of danger risks of the US embassy. The project is implemented under the leadership of the Illinois University.
