According to Day.Az, the due statement was made head of the CE Azerbaijan office Veronika Kotek reported at the Conference on application of experience of precedent right of European court on human rights.
"We hope that Azerbaijan will be among first to support the adoption of the Protocol, which may be approved if it gets support of at least three countries", she said.
According to her, the Protocol provides for two changes in procedures.
"First, if earlier to reject the case the protests of three judges were necessary, the only protest is enough for now. And the second - if earlier a board of seven judges reviewed cases, in accordance with protocol 14, the appeals will be considered by a board of three judges", said Kotek.
