Judo World Championship among veterans will be held in German Zindelfingen on May 28-31.
According to Day.Az, 10 Azerbaijani judoists including Zulfiya Huseynova (70 kg), Elchin Ismayilov (73 kg), Adil Aliyev (81 kg), Mubariz Jafarov (81 kg), Farhad Rajabli (90 kg), Yashar Safaraliyev (90 kg), Rasul Sultanov (100 kg), Azer Asgarov (100 kg), Mubariz Panahov (over 100 kg) and Vitali Apushkin (over 100 kg) will direct to Germany.
Separately, it is necessary to note the forthcoming participation in the championship of the deputy of Milli Mejlis Adil Aliyev.
At last year's similar contest held in Belgium, our veterans won two gold, one silver and two bronze, according to the press-service of the Judo Federation of Azerbaijan.
