The situation in the armed forces of Azerbaijan is normal and an isolate case within it should not be exaggerated, said speaker of Milli Medjlis Oqtay Asadov, according to Interfax-Azerbaijan.
"Isolate cases should not be exaggerated. There are no emergency situations within the armed forces of Azerbaijan", announced Asadov responding to the words of deputy Panah Huseynov, who demanded from the government to report on the situation in the Azerbaijani army on behalf of the deputy group of the Musavat oppositional party.
In turn, first vice speaker of Milli Medjlis Ziyafet Askerov also stated inadmissibility of exaggerating information about the situation in the army.
"Facts of poisoning of servicemen, which allegedly occurred in one of the units, were not true. Therefore, any rush is inadmissible. The situation in the army is controlled by the senior commander and is in the focus of his attention", said Askerov.
He noted that the situation in the armed forces has recently reached the stage when information is received about the denial of the citizens of a number of villages to send their sons to the army.
