Azerbaijan Prosecutor General's Office is investigating thr death of the "Tolishi Sado" newspaper chief editor Novruzali Mammadov.
The relevant decision will be made at the end of a forensic examination requested in connection with the death of the "Tolishi Sado" newspaper's chief editor, Spokesperson for Prosecutor General Eldar Sultanov said.
"At present, the forensic examination has been requested to determine cause of death. Once results are available, the relevant decision will be made," Sultanov said.
Mammadov, sentenced to 10-years in jail with charges of working for Iranian intelligence agencies, died on Aug. 17 at the
hospital of the Penal Service. Preliminary conclusions imply that
cause of death was acute thrombosis of the brain.
