Nobody has right to interfere in buying of school uniforms by parents in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov said.
"Neither school directors, nor teachers and local executive authorities have right to interfere in buying of school uniforms by parents", said the minister.
"They can only determine style of a school uniform but not interfere in the process of its making and purchase," minister said.
The ministry of education was informed information that local authorities in some regions establish children's funds and deduct 1 percent of teachers' wages. This is illegal. People illegally establishing these funds will be punished," Mardanov said.
