Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister, Azad Rahimov believes in a fair court decision on case of young activists.
"One should not politicize the arrest of these two young activists," Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimovsaid at a news conference.
Rahimov said that he was personally acquainted with Emin Milli.
"Emin is a man who expresses the position in different directions. It is possible that a fight broke out at a restaurant, but it is unknown who is the instigator," said the minister
Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizade are charged with hooliganism and intentional infliction of minor bodily harm.
Azerbaijani Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova has appealed to the Sabail District Court of Baku on the arrest of the young activists.
In her appeal, she calls for consideration of an alternative punishment towards Adnan Hajizadeh and Emin Milli, but not imprisonment, Ombudsman's Office said earlier.
The international organizations call for their release without any conditions.
