Heads of 10 states have been invited to the jubilee of chief of the Caucasus Muslims Board Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade.
Pashazade will celebrate his 60th anniversary on Nov. 6-7 and 30th anniversary since his election as Sheikhulislam.
The presidents of Russia, Latvia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iran and Syria, as well as leaders of Central Asian countries, Russia's prime minister have been invited to the event, Pashazade said at a news conference.
He said the Patriarchs of Russia and Georgia, the Pope, and representatives of the Bartholomew church have also been invited.
A total of 80 representatives of foreign countries, scientists and theologians will also attend the event.
