Iran and Azerbaijan will sign a memorandum on cultural cooperation, Mehdi Mostafavi, Iranian President’s advisor, head of Iran’s Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, told reporters in Baku.
He said that the memorandum covers cooperation in cinematography and art.
Exhibitions in tourism and art will be held within the framework of this cooperation.
According to the Iranian official, exchange of students and teachers will also be made under this document.
“It envisages translation of the modern works of both countries into the Persian and Azerbaijani languages. We want to develop the relations between the national libraries of both countries,” he said.
