"Azerbaijan Railways health agencies have upped security due to the ‘swine flu’ threat," Azerbaijan Railways Spokesperson Nadir Azmammadov said.
He said medical teams have been assigned to the Baku-Kiev and Baku-Kharkov passenger trains.
“Compliance with sanitary standards and disinfection regime in passenger trains, children's, educational and health facilities, places of residence of refugees and internally displaced persons are being verified according to the action plan,” he said.
"Precaution measures are underway in all facilities located on railroad territory, the anti-plague station of the Azerbaijan Railways creates stock of preventative drugs, disinfection means, personal protective equipment,” he said.
