Gourmets in the Belgian capital had an opportunity to taste a wide range of Azerbaijani dishes last week.
Co-organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Azeri embassy in Brussels, the Days of the Azerbaijani cuisine, took place at the building of the European Parliament.
The event featured a large number of Azerbaijani traditional dishes prepared by a team of nine cooks led by head of the National Culinary Center Tahir Amiraslanov.
“We brought most of the products from Azerbaijan. It included vegetables, sweeties and various sorts of jams from Ganja, Guba, Shaki and Baku,” said Amiraslanov.
“We were a success, and the Belgians were impressed by our dishes.”
