It is good that Azerbaijani students are looking for ways to unite and come together, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law Director, Doctor of Philosophy and Professor Ilham Mammadzade said.
Azerbaijani students have recently established Association of Students’ Youth Organizations.
“Youth must come together with some ideas. I believe it will serve their country, their state, development of socially significant Azerbaijani ideas. I am glad that the students united based on these ideas,” he said.
“Style, culture and behavior of young people are vital. Today young people have information culture and information time. It must ensure their active participation in all information projects in Azerbaijan and in the world,” he added.
“Moral education is crucial for students.” “There is a need for intra-national dialogue. All generations including older, middle, and young people should join efforts to preserve a decent standard of moral relationships. There is no another alternative to the humanity,” he said.
“We must also improve quality of education. Many believe that the program initiated by our President Ilham Aliyev on education of students abroad will bear fruit. This is the right step. On the other hand, we must ensure that Azerbaijani students benefit from education in their own country, too. Though we have many talented students, the quality of education still needs to be raised. But sometimes some teachers do not meet spirit of modernity, their knowledge is old and teachers need to change,” he added.
