The construction of grain storage facilities with capacity of 100, 000 tons in Baku and 60,000 tons in Ganja are nearing completion, said Azerbaijani Minister for Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov.
The minister said 115,000 tons of grain for the State Grain Stock was imported from abroad.
"About 15,000 tons of grain has been sent to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic,” he added.
