President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today opened the second exit of the “28 May” metro station here.
President Ilham Aliyev saw a Baku metro development scheme.
Azerbaijani leader was told that the 167-meter-long pedestrian tunnel to the 28 May station is at a depth of 40 meters. The escalators installed here are Russian-made.
The special turnstiles counting the number of people passing through a gate and enforcing one-way traffic of people have been installed for the first time in the Baku metro.
The Head of State praised the work done here and gave respective recommendations and instructions.
