The Pakistani Daily Ittehad newspaper has published an article in its January 8 issue on editor Tahir Farug`s impressions about Azerbaijan following his participation in a conference “Intercivilazational dialogue: Azerbaijan perspective” .
Farug described Azerbaijan as a “modern face” of the Islamic world.
He wrote about government-religion relationship and co-existence of various confessions in Azerbaijan.
The story narrated on national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev, highlighting their role in today`s development of Azerbaijan.
The author wrote about his meetings with students of the Urdu language department at the Baku State University.
The article also mentioned meetings author had on the sidelines of the conference with Deputy Foreign Minister Vagif Sadigov, Rector of Khazar University Hamlet Isakhanly.
A story on “Baku – legacy of Islamic history” published in the newspaper featured the history of Azerbaijan`s capital of Baku.
The newspaper also published an interview Azerbaijani ambassador Eynulla Madatli gave to editor Farug.
