Education minister of Azerbaijan Misir Mardanov met his Lithuanian counterpart Gintaras Steponavicius to discuss future cooperation between the two countries on Jan. 18.
Steponavicius spoke of the ongoing education reforms in his country. He put forward proposals on boosting cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Mardanov stressed the necessity of using Lithuania`s experience in education.
They also discussed how to establish relations between the two countries` higher educational institutions.
Lithuanian ambassador to Azerbaijan Kestutis Kudsmanas was present in the meeting.
