A meeting of Azerbaijan and Egyptian writers took place Wednesday at the Union of Writers.
Adel Darvish, Head of the Egypt Culture Center, touched on the literary ties between two countries.
Egyptian writers - Director General of Galam Club Hale Badri, Dr. Saf Safi and Mammad Said Jamaladdin – outlined the role of both countries’ writers in expansion of literary ties.
Anar, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Union of Writers told of Egypt-Azerbaijan friendship.
Participants agreed that there is a strong need for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt in the sphere of culture and agreed to convene the next meeting in Egypt.
