Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev met in Vatican with this country's directors of library and secret archive, Azerbaijan's embassy in France reported.
The Minister briefed Vatican officials on the Caucasus Albania, its history and cultural monuments. Discussions here revolved around the cooperation between the Azerbaijan National Library and Vatican library and access to secret archives.
Garayev also met with Vatican Minister of Culture to provide information about Azerbaijan`s history, rich culture, building of a new catholic church and religious and ethnic tolerance in Azerbaijan.
Vatican Minister invited Azerbaijani people of art to participate in the film festival in his country.
Azerbaijani ambassador to France and Vatican Elchin Amirbeyov was present at the meetings.
