Because of the heavy leakage on Astara-Kazimammad gas pipeline caused by spills of the Kura River, gas supply to Sabirabad, Saatli and Imishli regions of Azerbaijan was suspended as the emergency measures, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) said in a report posted on its official website. Supply of gas to these regions will be resumed after eliminating consequences of the disaster.
