3-volume selected works by renowned Azerbaijani writer, literary scientist and professor Mir Jalal Pashayev were released by the Biyiktik Publishers in Kyrgyz language in Bishkek.
The edition was supported by the Bishkek-based Foundation for Support to the Policy of Turkish-speaking countries and Avramed Company of Baku.
The selected works were translated into Kyrgyz language by Abdrahman Alimbayev, chairman of Kyrgyz national Writers' Union, Seyit Altimishov, secretary of the Union, and writer Mukan Asanaliyev.
The edition will be distributed among the Kyrgyz libraries, scientific and educational institutions free of charge.
Chairman of the Kyrgyz National Writers' Union Abdrahman Alimbayev expressed gratitude to the president of the Foundation for Support to the Policy of Turkish-speaking countries Nusret Mammadov and Avramed Company's director general Javanshir Feyziyev.
The new edition will play exclusive role in the literary ties of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, Abdrahman Alimbayev said.
A special Azerbaijan Literature and Culture Center after Mir Jalal opened in Kyrgyzstan National Library intends to propagate the literary and pedagogical-scientific heritage of the outstanding Azerbaijani writer.
A presentation ceremony dedicated to the edition due in Baku is to be attended by men of literature and culture from Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
The Foundation for Support to the Policy of Turkish-speaking countries so far has published numerous books by Azerbaijani historians, philosophers and writers in Kyrgyz, Russian and English languages.
