U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan presented various books in English to the Sumgait City Central Library.
According to Head of Sumgait City Culture and Tourism Department Namig Gafarov, the books were presented based on agreement during the meeting with the U.S. Embassy's representative for public diplomacy B.Mayer several days ago.
Gafarov said the books consisting of dictionaries, literary works, novel and story books of American authors, which are translated to Azerbaijani language, will be distributed.
The meeting stressed importance of intensifying cooperation between Sumgait's cultural institutions and the U.S. Embassy.
