On Sept. 9-10, Minsk hosted the seventh international conference of the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories, the National Depository Center (NDC) of Azerbaijan reported on Friday.
The conference was devoted to the role of central securities depositories in developing the information security of stock market participants. First deputy chairman of Azerbaijan NDC Fariz Azizov moderated the first plenary session of the conference, and also delivered a presentation entitled "Disclosure of information as an important element of corporate governance."
Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories was established in 2004. NDC is a founding member of the Association.
