The Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) will prepare a regulation to choose young scholars, who continue their education at research centers in Europe. This decision was taken at a meeting of the ANAS Presidium today.
"Young scholars must be chosen on the basis of post-graduate exams," Mahmud Kerimov said during the meeting. This initiative was supported by members of the presidium.
Kerimov said that young scholars have a big problem with a foreign language.
According to President Aliyev's decree on "Financing of ANAS young scholars' doctoral decree in scientific centers of Europe" in 2010, over 500,000 manat were allocated from the presidential reserve fund to finance education in doctorate. ANAS chose 10 scholars to continue their education abroad in early 2010.
