An Azerbaijani sportsman, injured in Crimea's accident, will undergo a full medical examination (magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)). Afterwards, he will get an accurate diagnosis, Azerbaijani embassy in Ukraine told Trend.
"Jeyhun Saybatov suffered more than other passengers. The issue about magnetic resonance imaging is under consideration. If they fail to conduct this procedure at hospital where the Azerbaijani athlete was placed after the accident, the embassy intends to apply to the Ukrainian Ministry of Health", the diplomatic mission said.
Jeyhun Saybatov's state is assessed as moderate, he has been hospitalized with a brain injury, said the embassy. If his condition improves, he will be transported from the Crimea to Kiev.
The rest four sportsmen Alizadeh Bilal, Ramin Salimov, Huseyn Aliyev and Emin Aliyev will participate in the competitions today. Tural Gasimov hurt his arm and will not be able to participate in the competitions, the embassy said.

The names of Azerbaijani athletes, who were among the passengers of the bus got into an accident in Crimea today, were announed, Azerbaijani embassy in Ukraine told Trend. They are Jeyhun Saybatov, Tural Gasimov, Ramil Allahverdiyev (coach), Alizadeh Bilal, Ramin Salimov, Huseyn Aliyev, and Emin whose surname has not yet been made clear.

A Mercedes Sprinter with 8 sportsmen overturned on the highway Krasnoperekopsk - Simferopol in Crimea. Azerbaijani athletes were moving from Kiev to Yalta to take part in competitions, Crimea's police told Ukrainian news agency. The car drove down the highway. The car overturned and rolled several times.

There were six Azerbaijani athletes and their head coach on mixed martial art among the passengers of the bus that met an accident in Crimea today, the Azerbaijani embassy in Ukraine said.
One sportsman was seriously injured.
There was a teenager among the athletes, the embassy said.
Head coach Ramin Allahverdiyev's condition is satisfactory. The embassy has learned the name of another athlete - Tural Gasimov.
As a result of an accident a 37-year-old Ceyhun Saybatov injured his backbone. He was hospitalized.

Azerbaijani athletes sustained injures on their way from Kiev to Yalta to take part in martial arts competitions after bus which was carrying them overturned, State Traffic Control Agency of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said.
Five individuals, as well as four athletes and a driver got injured as a result. According to preliminary reports, at the 86 km section of the road to Kiev, the driver got distracted and left the roadway. The bus overturned and rolled several times.
The only minor athlete in the bus flew out of the car and another guy was thrown into already broken windshield. Fortunately, they escaped with only minor injuries. Other athletes and the driver of "Sprinter" received serious injures in an accident. They were hospitalized.
