A delegation led by the director of Joint-Stock Company “Lekhnet” (Infolex) and the vice-president of Association “Infobalt” of the Lithuanian Republic Tauras Pestininkas visited Azerbaijan to take part in the action devoted to questions of application of the information technology in the Public Prosecutor Office of Azerbaijan.
The head of department of combat against corruption at the General Public Prosecutor of the Azerbaijan Republic Kamran Aliyev informed on the judicial-legal reforms carried out for last period in the country, adhering to the way of building of a democratic and legal state, the process of updating and carrying out of radical reforms in bodies of the Public Prosecutor Office, and also about work on creation of the centralized information-communication system according to requirements of the "State program on modernization of activity of the Public Prosecutor of the Azerbaijan Republic for 2009-2011”.
Kamran Aliyev noted that 2010 was declared as a Year of application of new information technology in bodies of the Public Prosecutor Office, and also spoke of other problems they face.
Underlining importance of working out and application of models of modern system of service in communication networks in dynamical development of information technology during the present period, Tauras Pestininkas spoke of the programs prepared by the “Lekhnet” society applied in courts and bodies of Public Prosecutor of the Lithuanian Republic. He told about successes and progressive experience.
At the meeting, discussed were issues on necessity of expansion and further development of bilateral connections between the Public Prosecutor of Azerbaijan and Lithuania as continuation of effective relations of the bodies of Public Prosecutor, exchange of experience in area of information technology.
