Stamps depicting the logo of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation have been issued in the Netherlands.

The Dutch Communications Ministry has officially issued postage stamps depicting the logo of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation upon the initiative of Honorary President of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in Benelux Sahil Gasimov, the Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Diaspora reported.

Letters with these stamps will be spread throughout Europe. The words "Heydar Aliyev Foundation" have been depicted on stamps in addition to the logo.

The Azerbaijani embassy in the Netherlands has offered to issue new stamps which will be presented in near future.

The Rotterdam-based Congress of Azerbaijanis in Benelux countries and Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which has a special role in raising awareness about Azerbaijan among Dutch citizens, have established close cooperation.

This cooperation started with when Foundation provided the Sunday schools for Azerbaijani children in Amsterdam and Rotterdam with textbooks and teaching supplies and the Foundation's comprehensive care for schools.

Moreover, the Foundation has provided the Congress with books, pamphlets and other visual aids containing information about Azerbaijan, the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the Khojaly Genocide.
