Investment projects were developed on the construction of new settlements with the way of appropriation of a part of Caspian Sea, deputy chairman of State Town-Planning and Architecture Committee Dovletkhan Dovletkhanov said.
According to him several variants are looked through for this purpose. One of these is related with the extending of Baku Boulevard: “According to this variant putting a pole and appropriation of a part of the sea are planned. Launching of underground links and tunnels are planned under this area. ”
The second variant is consisting of merging of islands with the bridges in Baku bay and establishment of recreation areas. The last-third variant covers construction of settlement consisting of 4 micro districts and all infrastructures in the sea area, Garadagh district.
He also noted that these projects are only conception. One of these will be selected after 1-1.5 years.
