Azerbaijan will have a leading position in Europe for efficiency utilization of power stations after launching of South Power Station, Azerenergy President Etibar Priverdiyev at the press conference.
According to him the works on construction of high-voltage lines are being conducted. At the same time new power-substations, small water power stations are being constructed. Underground substation which is the first in Caucasus is likely to be completed.
He also spoke about the construction of Iran’s Khudaferin Water Power Station over Araz River with the border of Jabrail region. Azerbaijani and Iranian Foreign Ministries signed a protocol on this.
