Organized criminal group who forced Azerbaijani women into prostitution in Turkey was detained.
Eight individuals have been detained including the leader of the gang. Police have also found about six women forcibly involved into prostitution from Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and Turkmenistan.
The operation to render the gang harmless conducted under the code name “Limon” in Ankara covered four hotels and 10 private houses. Passports of the human trafficking victims were seized to prevent them from escaping.
