An international conference “Youth for environmental development” has ended here today with adoption of a final resolution, representative of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Youth and Sport Farhad Hajiyev told a press conference.
The document reflects joint solutions to environmental problems, close cooperation between government bodies and non-governmental organizations, activity of scientific institutes, participation of businessmen and civil society in solution of environmental problems.
Organized with the support of ministries of Youth and Sports and Ecology and Natural Resources, National Academy of Sciences and UNICEF, the conference was a part of a series of events marking the Year of Environment in Azerbaijan. About 150 students and young scientists from 13 countries attended the conference.
