“I believe the issue of abolishing part-time education was raised by someone and it has a goal”, said chairman of the parliamentary committee for education and science Shamsaddin Hajiyev.

He said the law of education approved the part-time and distant educations as the forms of education.

“No one can abolish that. The question is about that the part-time education is not a form of education in any country, except the post-soviet countries. There is distant and online education in the world. Probably the world processes will be implemented in Azerbaijan too because Azerbaijan is integrating into the European education system”.

Hajiyev said abolishment of part-time education is inevitable, but he didn’t say when it would happen. “The replacement of part-time education with distant education is a demand of life. But it can not happen today or two years later. This process can take up to 5 years to realize".
