Operator of the local oil and gas unit of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Nazim Hamidov, 54, died while performing duty of service in northern Siyazan region on January 20.
The incident occurred at a time when Hamidov was inspecting oil wells, the local prosecutor’s office said. The operator fell into the well as he was hit by crane swings and died on the spot.
