Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office has set up anti-corruption hotline, APA reports quoting the website of the Prosecutor General's Office.
Hotline "161" has been set up under the order of Prosecutor General to ensure efficient struggle against corruption, allow the citizens facing cases of corruption to appeal directly to the Department to Combat Corruption under the Prosecutor's General's Office, reveal cases of corruption by taking immediate measures and take preventive measures.
The hotline was started at 9.00 today. A 24-hour-a-day hotline is also available on days off and on holidays. The citizens are offered all technical opportunities to make free calls to report corruption. The Department to Combat Corruption under Prosecutor General's Office will make thorough, full and unbiased investigation of all the appeals received by the hotline, regularly inform the public about the measures taken with regard to the appeals.
