The Netherlands offers cooperation in the agriculture, logistics, tourism and culture spheres to the Azerbaijani region of Gabala, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Azerbaijan told Trend on Friday.
The country’s ambassador to Azerbaijan Arjen Uijterlinde visited Gabala on March 3-4, where he met with the region’s executive power head Sabuhi Abdullayev.
Accompanied by the Dutch specialists in the agriculture sphere, Uijterlinde visited the region’s business entities interested in cooperation.
Opportunities to enhance cooperation, particularly in the agro-industrial sphere, logistics, tourism and culture were studied during the meetings with them.
Uijterlinde presented an assistance program on the topic "Business for businesses" offering short-term consultations for small and medium businesses wishing to work with experts from the Netherlands.
During his stay in Gabala Uijterlinde offered Azerbaijani business partners to participate in the upcoming Netherlands-Azerbaijani agricultural business forum to be organized jointly with the Azerbaijani Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) on May 23-26 in Baku.
