A delegation led by chief of the Commissioner of the Germany Federal Criminal Police Office Jorg Ziercke visited Azerbaijan State Migration Service.
Chief of Azerbaijan State Migration Service Arzu Rahimov informed guests on the history and activity of the service. He stressed cooperation between Azerbaijan and Germany.
Jorg Ziercke in his turn expressed his satisfaction with relationship between the countries in migration sphere.
Chief of Azerbaijan State Migration Service provided information on social and political situations of post soviet republics, especially in Azerbaijan in 1990, the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijani territories by Armenians and one million Azerbaijani refugees and IDPs. Arzu Rahimov highlighted Heydar Aliyev's role in socio-economic development of Azerbaijan.
The meeting featured discussions on bilateral prospects of cooperation and issues of mutual interest.
